I have a 7/8 Wade and Butcher Wedge. The blade is in amazing condition and I am working my rear off to make her look beautiful. The scales were a mess so I just removed them and tossed them. I was wondering what a fair asking price would be for this razor once it's in great condition. I do not know much about'em but I don't want to charge someone too much for it either. Let me know your thoughts...she's so pretty I may even just keep her

Just kidding. far as I can make out the only value these things have is, how much would make you part with it and how much someone is willing to pay, if you can make them meet you have a value.:shrug:

7/8 is worth more than say a 5/8, depending on the condition of the razor, and the type of scale material you use, the price range can vary greatly...
If it was mirror polished and had some nice scales, you might ask $100 and up?
especailly for a 7/8 W&B, that's a nice blade, and worth paying a premium price.
A lot depends on the scale materials also... nice cocobolo, or ambonia burl will fetch a higher price than a more common wood like oak or maple, but no where near what Ivory would go for.
If it has black plastic scales, and a very clean finish, I'd say $100+-
if mirror polished with really nice wood scales maybe $150+-
Ivory scales, and a mirror finish, you could ask for an arm and a leg and probably get it.
$10 seems a bit high. I would go maybe $11.50 if its perfect ( I'll pay shpg) . Let me know if I need to send you my address.
