I talked to Gary about making me a set of scales that looked like the originals as payment for nominating him for President! ;) Bruno's giving me half off the restoration that he is doing for me for nominating him Co-President!!:roflmao

Personally I'd rather have Mark's blade than your scales. :)
Actually I think that you have it backwards, that blade IS special (because Joseph Rodgers one of the absolute top Sheffield brands) but I do not think that the scales are special. Those scales do not look like ivory, they look like bone. They are too thick, the shape is wrong, and the grain does not look right for ivory. Really nice blade though!Quote:
