I have a Herm Schmidt razor with ivorine/ivory scales marked Hamburg ring in gold wash it was a large razor marked 1" silver steel however it is only probably 7/8" after removing a large chip it gives a great shave and is very easy to hone and strop, can anyone tell me anything about the manifacturer and any general infomation.
