BTW, These are my personal Razors

I am posting some pictures of some razors I think may be of interest. I am curious to know anything about these blades. They are in varying conditions and I'm sure there are things about them that I am missing.

Specifically, I am curious about: 1)quality of blade 2)potential for restoration 3)value

I understand that it may be very difficult to assess these razors by looking at pictures. I'm only looking for ballpark thoughts.

I will post a new thread for each of the razors. There's only 4 or 5.

I have no attachment or investment of any kind to these razors, so please feel free to "call crap, crap"

I'm no expert, but... Genko, Geneva cutlery is said to be a good american brand. I had one under my atention and heard people here saying that it's a fine little razor.
My thoughts, only... no worth much. :)

genco, geneva cutlery .... made excellent razos this wone is in need of maas, sanding and polishing then a hone it will take a fair bit of work to get this into shape but once done you will enjoy it for years .... fixed oup (without replacement scales $40 or so... but search b/s/t for a better idea.

Oh my god it looks like you raided my rotaion razors. I have a Genco Expert and I love it.

Needs a bit of work but that is a very nice razor.

It is a great brand but I personally would not pay more than $5 for that one because of the poor condition. To get it to shave you will have to remove the nick, and to get it to look good will take a lot of work.

I really appreciate everyone's advice so far. It looks like I have a few razors that I can use to practice some restoration. I certainly don't plan on selling them, I just wanted to make sure that none of them were worth sending to someone more experienced to be restored rather than using them to learn from.
