I voted New straights, I own 1 vintage and I love it, but I have 20+modern blades and love them too! But I would like to purpose that someday a 100 years from now someone who is looking at my (currently modern) razors and will wonder about the story behind them. So in essence I am "currently" working on creating a batch of someday vintage razors made in the early 2000s with my story attached to them lol....I hope anyways!
Cheers
Vintage.
Mostly from a cost effectiveness standpoint. 15 to 20 bones on Ebay, an hour or 2 of work in my down time, and I have a good shaver.
I like my Dovo too. But I'd have a much smaller collection with a lot less variety if all I bought was new razors.
