I use a small square wooden box with a sliding top. It is a little thicker than a book. Probably the same size as a cigar box.

I store my enormous colection of 3 razors in the bathroom in the little cart I have in there. I keep them inside a air-tight plastic bag in their original boxes, toguether with a bag full of sillica. I guess when RAD strikes again I just might rethink this method... works great so far.

I have five razors (actually I've reduced the number to five). They are in two wooden boxes made for razors (3 in one, 2 in the other) in my sock drawer.
After the shave I rinse the blade under very hot water, wipe dry, apply 90% rubbing alcohol, wipe dry, leave razor 1/4 open in the bathroom cabinet until morning (I shave at night), then back in the box. No problems.

I store my razors on the "small" stand.
There razors ventilated and feel perfectly.

I have a Honeywell lock box that I got off my buddy (he was cleaning out his car and didn't seem to want it anymore). It can hold ten razors on their sides, but that's more than I'm supposed to have... It also fits nicely on my bookshelf. I'll take some pics when I'm not feeling so lazy.
I've been meaning to get some soft foam, make cutouts, and store the razors spine up. Maybe some day I'll actually do it...

I bought some cheap cardboard drawer chests from one of the "storage" shops around here.
Thy are about 12' high and 8" wide and have 3 drawers.
Bottom drawer is for recently received razors, middle drawer is for ones that can be honed, top drawer is for razors that are shaving.
My routine:
Rinse the razor blade under the tap with just hot water, no cold, for 10 seconds. The gently blot it with a towel.
Then rinse out the cup and brush and put them away.
Then a few drops of oil on the razor, wipe of the excess, then into the top drawer.
No rust, no muss, no fuss. If I were cool, I would strop it and put it away, but since I strop before shaving, once the shave is done, I am ready to move on to somethinge else.
