I believe Sheffield Steel is made in Sheffield. If you're shaving, don't worry, they're great razors.

I once posted about being fascinated that in the heyday of Solingen razors many of the makers stamped their razors as being made with Sheffield steel. Even in recent years TI continued to do that. Companies like Kayser-Ellison were prominent in the Sheffield steel making industry.
I have a couple of Pumas K-E stamped, a Bartmann and others. Someone responding to that post said that the steel used in Sheffield came from Sweden. I don't know if that is correct. Most of the razors made back in those days were good regardless of where they were made.
Sheffield once made steel for the World - there's even a theatre there called The Crucible. Many German razor makers used Sheffield steel - indeed the Solingen smiths often preferred it to German or Swedish steel. Sadly, steel is no longer made in Sheffield (to the best of my knowledge) but ANY razor made with Sheffield steel is likely to be of high quality. :ySimply the best!
Thank You
