My impression has been that the model # reflects the width of the blade. Maybe the style as in square point or round. Whatever the numbers signify they sure made a great razor as did all of the Swedes I have encountered.

Any have any idea what the numbering system correlates to? I'm guessing size, but what sizes? #31, #4, #6, u.s.w....

In the #3x range at least the last digit indicates the size. #30 is 4/8, #31 is 5/8, and #32 is 6/8. I've never seen a #33...

When I've inquired of sellers the width of a MK 33 the response was 13/16ths. I've never owned one to measure myself.
The MK 6 seems to be 6/8ths + but not quite 13/16ths. I'll know more about the MK 6 next week when my most recent purchase arrives.

Being metric they're not exactly 6/8ths of course, but my Mk32s are all slightly over 6/8 size themselves (about 49-50/64ths). That's interesting that #33's would only be 1/32 larger than that... I may well have seen them and just not recognized them then, thinking they were #32s
