Default What did my brother-in-law Give me?

The razor is a 3/8" square point in what looks to be golden tan colored celluloid handles with brass decorations. Labeling has the following: W.B. McDonald, Woburn, Mass, Made in Germany on one side and Mack on the other. All in very good condition with some minor hone wear and minor pitting. He paid $24 for it and gave it to me as a gift. Of course it needs cleaning and is not shave ready. I am just curious what it is that he gave me. Anyone have any ideas?

    Sounds like a straight razor.

There does not happen to be a Martensite trout* glistening in the steel, does there?
