ID this Erik Antonberg
Hi folks,
I've never come across this particular razor...is it worth restoring? Would any of the resident experts be able to shed light on this brand/make?
Nomenclature as follows:
Tang: a figure of a shark, then ERIK ANTONBERG, below that ESKILSTUM, then below that SWEDEN.
Blade itself: Some sort of bass or a shark under that, SKYDOSMARKE (see pic, albeit quite faint)
Any clues?

Yup, and it's Erik Anton Berg, with Anton as a separate middle name. The shark was Mr. Berg's trademark. And, yes, Eskilstuna pronounced with those soft and stretched Swedish esses.;)

I've never had an Anton Berg but I've never seen an Elskituna made razor that wasn't a great shaver. They had the steel and they knew how to make a razor. I bet it will be a great shaver. :tu

They ARE great shavers in my experience. Worth keeping.

I have an E. A. Berg with the same fish, but mine's a frame back and an AWESOME shaver. If you don't make that blade shave I'm gonna hunt you down and do it myself! :D

Erik Anton Bergs are very good, worth keeping and restoring. They take an edge easily and keep it well.
