I quite like the old short fellows razors. My Great x5 Grandfather was at Waterloo when we whipped his bum.
HISTORIK ORDERS, LTD BRITISH SINLGE MEDALS - WATERLOO MEDALS Here are his medals, or some of them.
Have a look for Ben Bartenshaw.
Thats my relative. He was in the famhouse with Wellington according to his military records. He was a big fellow with a big pike! I wonder what hone he used to sharpen it:rock: Look out Napoleon.
I almost fell off my perch when I found Ben's medals.

I'm sure this is probably worth more than 30K.

i dont see the point of spending that kind of money unless it was self-honing and self stropping  then i might think about it
Wouldn't be much fun then though, may as well buy a Mach3.
I was at a swap meet and one seller supposedly was selling Adolf Hitler's Razor for $5000.00. I imagine it was a forgery, but supposedly it was a blade given to adolf from Charles Lindbergh and had an inscription on it. $30,000.00 for an ugly POS???:rofl2:
In in a world when people literally have more money in the bank than many 3rd world countries, buy Gulfstream jets and $250,000 wristwatches-I'll bet they haven't had ANY problems selling it.
Plus, you could paint the scales black, pass right on through customs and have enough ready cash to hide somewhere....:w
