Amazing... this shows true graphical art braincells!
Very unique and a true piece of art.

Very nice; amazing detail. I'd call the The Black Heron if it hasn't officially been named already.

how do you hone that? Ie what do you do in terms of resting the spine on the hone?
Beautiful! Where did you find that?

how extraordinary
Very impressive work. I prefer a more traditional look but that is a beauty.
is it just for looks or does it shave do you all think?

joel from B&B has one I believe he rates it above all others
It actually came through on my RSS reader from a design site I subscribe to. It was very unexpected:
A Real Unique And Creative Interpretation Of The Classic Straight Razor - The Damascus Birdwing By Knife Maker, Frank J.... - #17093 - NOTCOT.ORG
Apparently, Warner makes very few razors a year as he only does it for a hobby. The bird wing is truly gorgeous and it looks like it would be highly maneuverable. From everything I read about him, it seems as though yellow cake uranium is slightly more available.
Truly unique and great work!

Is it possible to make really unusual shaped blade with a spine that you could clip on to the razor whilst honing and remove during shaving - it could make for some very interesting designs.
What I meant was a straight edge, but with the rest of the blade in whatever shape that pleases you then when you come to hone it, you clip on the straight spine that enables you to hone the edge with no problems.
I have several razors that have uneven spines that make honing a pain - not from creativity but age. Maybe if you used an artificial spine you could hone them much easier as the spine would be perfectly proportioned relative to the edge.
