I placed a couple of razors in Barbicde just to help keep them clean and to prevent corrosion. However, for some reason they became stained. It didn't happen other times I have done this. Is there a way to wipe off the stains ?

Hi,
A photo would help, but it's most likely just on the surface, so they'll probably polish out.
Does how old the barbicide solution is matter?
Do you know of a particular polish I could try ? Also would soft steel wool help ? Thanks.
I can say flitz works. I hear flitz and maas are pretty much the same thing. It may take some time, but it will eventually work. I imagine you could use steel wool. Some people might say sandpaper would be better. What kind of finish are you looking for?
Don't do it! Or at least try the wool on something you don't care too much about keeping a mirror finish on. Steel wool is not a polishing compound and will likely leave many scratches all over your razor. Try a polishing compound first. Or maybe even a soft microfiber/cotton cloth.
