Jonrulf razors?
Found a razor in an junk store today that was in very good condition, however i've never heard of this maker. The tang was stamped "54 1/2 Jonrulf solengen-germany". It was a spike point in white cracked ice scales. Lady wanted $40 for it but i'm very hesitant with razors i'm unfamiliar with so I figured if a search here and on google didn't pan out I would turn to you gents' to see if anyone might know something about this razor. I would appreciate any information you all might have. Thank you.

Any idea what type of steel it is? Or when they were manufactured? It really is a pretty razor, i'll pick it up this weekend and then post some pics when my buddy comes back from the field and gives me my camera. I noticed an inlay in the scales on yours, was wondering what it says. lol. Thanks for your input! Much appriciated.

It's not marked stainless anywhere so I guess it;s carbon steel. The inlay is the name and an early soldier I think. Age would be just a guess. It was sold as "NOS from an estate of a barber that had a shop in the Empire state building", so maybe late 30's at the oldest?
