I do.
I was finding the occasional water spot on my blade the next day after using them. Since I started oiling them after every use it hasn't been a problem. I don't keep them in the bathroom and dry them as best as I knows how after use. Maybe it's still not good enough. It's not really humid in my house except for sometimes in the spring/early summer when we've got the windows open.
I don't oil my stainless steel blade and it's been fine.

Someone should conduct an experiment and see how much extra life incessant oiling could actually give, i agree it could never last forever but maybe you can increase the life of a hone. anyone up for it?

I don't oil and have never had trouble with rusting. I don't keep any of 'em in the bathroom, and I have a pretty typical routine: strop, shave, clean the blade in hot water, (carefully) wipe the blade dry, strop 10-15 passes, leave the blade open 'til the next day, then back in the box she goes until the next date. I have a few stainless blades but most are old Sheffield.

Commo,
I can't see where oiling the razor would increase the life of a hone. Oh, it might marginally reduce wear on the stone by decreasing the frequency of honing, but the stone's gotta be harder than the steel and likely will outlast generations of razors.

I use linen oil: 1 or 2 drops after shaving. A friend of mine told me that when he was in the army this was the standard method to clean guns everyday..

I only use oil (I use mineral oil) if I'm not going to use the razor the next day, otherwise I just dry it off until the next night. All of my razors that I don't use (I have 7 shave-ready razors now :D) I leave rolled up in a 7-day leather case with mineral oil on them for protection.

I never know when I'm going to use a particular razor again, because I don't use a rotation system. I just choose the one I feel like using right before I disappear in the bathroom for a shave.
Hence I oil the blades after every shave. Even stainless. It takes 20 seconds.

I voted for the "only if they are not in my rotation option", but like Bart, I don't really rotate. I store my razors in a wooden cabinet-like-thing and I've never had problem with rust. If I'm putting a razor into storage and it won't be used for some months, I'll oil it.
