Default Any one know of the Grand 20 razor?

    Hi everyone.
I recently purchased an old razor with markings on the tang, 'T.Noonan &Sons Co Boston Mass Made in Germany.'
And on the other side is 'Grand 20' or it could be '20 Grand'
The 20 is inside the G on Grand.
I'll post some pictures as soon as I can.
This razor came as an added bonus with a Wade and Butcher. I'm hoping its a great razor, but for the price I paid if it's a piece of junk I won't be disappointed.
    Thanks for your help.
    Cheers,
    Nathan

I have heard of some good razors that have been stamped by Noonan. As far as I know, they were an importer as opposed to manufacturers, but most vintage German blades are at least "pretty good." I would assume she'll make a fine shaver.

Goins' Encyclopedia of Cutlery Markings has this to say: "TWENTY GRAND c 1932-1948. The Twenty Grand Blade Company operated in Spencer Indiana. H.B. Laymon was president. They dealt mainly in razor blades, but also sold pocket knives."
