    Default First Duck

It has been a great couple of weeks for me. Finished my new brush, found a coticule in my basement, and today I scored my first Dubl Duck. It's a special #1 pearl duck. It is mint, zero rust, no blade chips, and looks like it has never been honed, the scales a perfect too. Oh and it only cost me $28.00. It just needs a little bit of cleaning.

I am jealous! I won my first duck on ebay a while ago, it was classified as parts razor so I might have bought a dud, then I won another "parts" duck whose scales are gone, but the blade looked okay.

    Great find!

I got a Dwarf off of the Bay a few weeks ago. Minor tarnish and very dirty scales that cleaned up pretty well. Paid $30 for it. Shaves nicely.

Yes, funny thing about those Ducks. They are like potato chips. Once you have one you can't but help have another and another and another and...

I can already tell i am going to like it. I have a Henry Sears thats about the same size in a spike point, full hollow and I love it. I am going to take it to the stones tomorrow and see how she shaves.
