I may have cured my RAD!

So, I have to say that as of yet I'm waiting for these to arrive, and yes I bought them based on these pictures only and yes I paid far, far too much for them... But, I'm more excited about the impending arrival of these fellows than I have been for a long time...

With it being a complete set, I can't see wanting to add anything for my rotation for a long time, unless of course they turn out to be crap or damaged. :P

They're by A.J. Jordan, ''Old Faithful'' though that's more of something they put on a lot of razors as opposed to a model. I know they aren't as fancy as most 7 day sets, and yes that is just black celluloid, I'm pretty sure, and yes they lack the fancy engravings or gold wash we're used to seeing on sets... But it's a seven day set, and mine! What can I say, I'm excited.

Just means that you have now begun the SDSAD (seven day set aquisition disorder), a single addition just won't cut it for you anymore!

agreed, you may have just worsened your situation. It's really hard to kill an addiction by getting more of what you are addicted to...:D

I too think I can quit my RAD with one last great purchase because unlike others I'm not addicted. I can give up when ever I want to. I just don't feel like giving up my RAD at the moment.

You are done for my friend! if I only had the money for every 7,4, or 2 day set I got believing I wasn't going to buy any more razors I would have enough money to buy that Japanese natural hone that will cure my HAD! ;)

congratulations with great set.enjoy with them .the day you will start get rid all rest blades which you have (very hard to do so i mean this.some of them you love doesn't matter how much money you will get for them just you don't want to loose them) Then you can call you have treated yourself.By the way i went half way but can't go more.May be you are strong man :gl:

That's a very nice set, I would be glad to get a set like that. Unfortunately it won't cure your RAD it will just make it worse, I used to think getting a custom would cure mine it just made mine worse as that's almost all I want now. enjoy them

7 day set user question?

So, anybody out there a proud seven day razor set user?

What happens if you start leiking one of the razors more than the others? Say the "Wednesday" felt a bit smoother than the "Friday", what then? Do you wait until Wednesday to use that smooth razor again, or do you start skipping around to your faves? Are you sticklers for using the proper razor for the day of the week?

Yup, sure am glad I don't have those kind of headaches to worry about....:w

I think the idea is to by enough seven day sets to be able to have a favorite in each set for each day of the week.

Not to mention...there are 52 weeks in a year.....you might as well have a 7 day set for each week. And then you need that one "special" razor for the extra day during leap years....

Somebody's been sleeping in grade school.... The extra day in leap years is not a fixed day of the week, but can fall on anything between Monday through Sunday. So you'd want a proper 7-day set of leap year razors.
Glad I could clear the misconception, nothing like shaving with the wrong razor, you know... Especially after going through the whole expense and effort to get it perfect.
