Wow! Those are all very nice !!!
I have a "penchant" for ebony and I really like the simple lines of Ben's scales so I might go for something similar.
Thanks everyone!
That's very funny! LOL!!!
Cheers,

Considering the competition, I'll take that as a huge compliment! Thank you very much.:D
Actually the original scales look great. Use a little MAAS with a cloth and they would sparkle. If the blade is a little loose a repinning might be in order.

Ah, didn't realize John has them back, I thought they were gone for good.
Mine is not worth showing as it's still in the plastic scales. I have an idea about the replacement, but haven't gotten around to finalizing it and getting it done. I think it'll be horn :)
I have that exact blade, NOS 7/8 with custom wood scales. That razor is a monster! I got it last week, unfortunately it is not shave ready, and I'm flirting with honing it myself. If any of you have any advice on how to tackle this beast/beauty, please see my thread, Need Advice for My Stainless.
Otto, that's gorgeous. Does RW make those for John?
Ryan, you should have enough info in that thread to get a fantastic edge on it, subject to your skill on the hones. I found that 3 layers of tape & going straight from a BBW to a thuringian worked for me. I got a very sharp edge with just 1 layer, but couldn't keep it.
Hijack over. :D
Here's mine in lace wood. Rescaled by my son, JrJoeD, and me.
