That's some _hard_ steel...

So I was working on setting the bevel on my new Frederick Reynolds concave this evening, and that thing is _really_ hard. My DMT E is normally quite a fast cutter, but dang! I think it will probably take me a couple more hours to get the bevel set properly on this thing.

Anybody have similar experiences with Reynold's blades? Or did I luck onto a happy anomaly?

I'll post some pics after Saturday when my camera gets here. SWMBO rolls her eyes a lot when I ask to borrow hers to shoot straights... :D

yes have faith it will get their frs have verry good steal in them and once shave erady they will stay their for a long time.

Ask Howard how he felt about honing my FR... It is my worst behaving blade, but it was reground before I bought it so I am not sure who/what to blame.
