does 1/4 1/2 full hollow grind make that much of a difference?

I prefer big wedges because the heft seems to plow through my heavy beard with less effort, but I can get shaves that are just as good with small hollows, I just have to hold them tighter to control them, which I don't like to do. So for me it's a feel thing.

I think I prefer the heavier grinds too, but honestly I think I shave just as badly with either.:shrug:
