Looking forward to hearing the shave report, and how the honing went. Nice looking blade and most likely good quality American steel.

    I meet such razors periodically.
    Some similar Sheffield razors:
    Thomas Turner & Co.

Default Two More Double Concave Razors

I found two "double concave" razors dwelling in my collection. I honed up the American Knife Co. shoulderless "Diamond Edge". (sounds familiar?) and it proved to be a really excellent shaver I think that American Knife Co. razors might be rare, since I have never seen another. Anybody got one? The second double concave razor is a D. Miller & Son "Broom" made in Sheffield at the Eldon Works. I have done nothing with it; looks like a "someday" project to restore. Both razors have horn scales. Thanks to the posters in this thread-double concave seems to have been a good idea. The honing was easy and the shave was great, with the American Knife Co. Diamond Edge.
