What do you make of this?

The guy says it's manufactured by 'Mab and Co' but I think that's the vendor. is it my eyes or does that not look quite right?

It looks like a quite common design, although the reflection makes it appear odd.We need a closeup.

you're probably right, it must be the diagonal reflection playing tricks on my eyes.

I would also say, it's heavy worn at the toe.

I suspect some one is selling it and they sent you a photo (makes you wonder why they didn't send you a closer photo so you could better determine the condition), have then send you a closeup photo of the blade only.

No, I just came across it on ebay and couldn't decide if it was worn at the toe or the light was playing tricks on my eyes. I'm still not sure. I'm not THAT bothered either way, to be honest, I just wondered.

I'll ask for a close up all the same.

They are a nice small razor & I haven’t seen any other make as small.

Well, it just arrived. Heel at ~1.6cm toe and ~1.4cm - consistant with OS's. I have to say it's a pretty little thing.

No major rust, the scales are good, pins tight. It's going to be a long wait when I send this off to be honed! Let's hope it's a good shaver, it's a keeper if it is.

Will get some pictures when I get home again.

Mine came in pretty good nick, blunt as a butter knife but quite clean. I was lucky really. I cleaned it up a bit after I took these pics, just with a bit of metal polish.

I warned SWMBO that there is a package on its way with razors.. She had threatened to throw any package away with ANOTHER razor in it:rant:

I hope it will be in pretty soon this week because if our baby arrives first I'll have to find a couple of hours to hone the razor between changing diapers..we are due in another three weeks but our first came two weeks early..

I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it, it seems they're *relativly* uncommon.

It should be with you fairly early in the week, I'm hoping it went over the channel yesterday after I posted it friday, but who knows.

I'm picking up a 7 day set with 5 left on wednesday, dunno if they're junk or not yet though. In fact I know absolutly nothing about them!
