Good with my razors?

I have been told a couple times in the chat that I should be straight with the razors I have pretty much for life...though I still want to buy more I just wanted to see what everyone thought about the ones I've aquired thus far...
I currently have a vintage Anton Wingen Jr. Othello #54 with bone scales, made in Soligon Germany (this is the one I enjoy using), I have a vintage Robert Klaas, it is printed with Star Shaver on one side, and Soligon Germany on the other...this one is vintage as well, not sure what the scales are made of, though it appears to be bone as well. I also have a very nice razor from the Worchester Razor Co. with ivory celluloid scales shaped like bamboo.
Just thought I would get everyones opinions about these razors. Thanks! :tu

You really only need one razor to be set for life, may be two in case one gets dull. Then again if one is being honed and the other gets nicked you'd need three.:gaah:

Anyway. Solingen is good steel and the other is American steel which is just as good. As long as you have them honed right and they shave well, your in business.

You do have some good razors there and they COULD last you a lifetime if you have the discipline to NOT want to try the different brands and grinds everyone talks about on this forum.For myself,I couldn't resist buying and trying wedges,framebacks,1/4 hollows,1/2 hollows,etc,etc,......

There are those people who meet their life's partner when very young, marry and live the rest of their lives in blissful monogamy. Then, there are those people who go through a long progression of lovers, friends, mates, wives,

I've rarely met a razor that I didn't want to take home and have a fling with. That's right - I'm a razor slut. Or, in medical terms, A victim of RAD. Whoever told you to stand by your first razor is either not a RAD sufferer, or someone who is trying to eliminate any competition for the remaining few million razors still available. :) My advice is to buy as many as you can afford, and if you are not happy with some, send them to me and I will give them a good home.
