Todays Score: 8 razors, ca. 1800-1870
I figured I'd make a few people jealous tonight...
I paid $115 today for these 8 razors.

The first two are a 15/16 Fenney Tally Ho and a Joseph Elliot 13/16 "Fine India Steel". Both have cracked scales (d'oh).

Next up is a T.Ibbotson Maker, Liverpool, 7/8 and a R.Wade 11/16. OLD blade. Both have intact scales! WOOT!

This next one is very interesting. It is a Marshes and Shepherd Pond Works, probably 1830-40, and has PATRIOT RAZOR stamped on the spine. There is a notch taken out of the toe of the spine, and has all indications it was an original design, as the stamp "PATRIOT RAZOR" is centered taken the notch into account. This razor shines, although it has some odd pitting -- the scales are near black and overall this thing is in amazing condition. Theres a thumb notch, and the blade is barely over 6/8. The second razor in this pic is an early Wostenholm 11/16. scales intact on both razors.

FINALLY.... we have a 7/8 Holley Mfg Co, Lakeville, and a W&B Fine india Steel, 6/8. Both sets of scales are good.

i'd say I did well today!
