Whats that then? I bought it on the off chance, but I've got this feeling it's junk.
It will be going up for trade for a 9/16 or 4/8 german if it's not, looks too big for me.

Well, you certainly got yourself a very nice Dovo coffin. But I've never seen a Bismarck like that. Got to love auction sites... ;)
I knew it wasn't a Bismarck, but the description said something about a Dovo Junior, so I wonder if it's one of these. It looks like it could be.

Well, if so, happy shaving. I like Dovos a lot. I traded all my small German razors with one of your fellow countrymen, though...
Hopefully there will be someone out there looking to off load one, assuming this thing is ok. I don't currently have a German razor in my rotation, and that's gotta change one way or another.
You certainly know where to hunt down some nice find on the www

Hello Greg
I am the man that Robin traded his 4/8 blades with.
you might be interesred in a trade with these.
I find myself using larger & stiffer blades now. Paul
It is indeed a Dovo Junior. 11/16s.
It feels totally different to my vintage blades, stiff.
Edit: I can't get over how different it feels. It sounds different on the hone as well. It's taken a great edge.
