I wonder what the scales are made of.

Very very tempting.........a custom razor from before the days of custom razors. Looks like a great shaver to me too, although a booger to hone. The scales look like Bakelite to me.

Could this be the before picture? Telly said that the one in this thread was sold already, I bet he found another one and did not tell me ;-)
