Yep Joe there we go. Thanks Lynn!
sometimes you gotta go straight to the top for the answer. Thanks Lynn.
Dang wrong for the first time in years----LOL:-) NOT!
Cutlery World was a cutlery store chain extant during the hey-day of the american suburban shopping mall, during the 70s and 80s.
I bought this, now very well used, razor new in '81 for $29.99:http://straightrazorpalace.com/membe...orld-razor.jpg
As this site didn't exist then and because I didn't think to ask an old-school barber how to hone or even use it, it took a lot of trial and error and pain to get a decent shave from it.
It was my only straight razor for about 28 years, but it now has 15 brothers, so it is only called to duty once or twice a month.
The razor you're buying:

It was I believe $10 more than my plain acid-etched model, selling for $39.99. Getting it for $40 (2009 dollars) is a hella deal!
You should expect to get as many years of good service as I have.
Shuredgefan,
That was the one I was going to buy but instead jumped on a good deal for a wade and butcher 5/8.
Oops, I saw the "pm sent" on that other forum and thought you'd bought it, oh well, never mind.:)
