I have a razor marked thusly on the tang, and has a gold inlay as follows:
UNRIVALLED
Mail Pouch
FULLY WARRANTED
It shaves really nicely; far better than my modern Dovo does.
About as good as my vintage Henckels 81 Emperor.
Has anyone heard of these, and if so, what's the scoop?
Also, anyone have a clue about the date on the Levering or the Henckles?
Nobody ever heard of it?

GOINS" guess is 1900-1930, the company located at corner of Chambers & Hudson st, NYC.
I have several of those razors. So my guess is that this is just one "branding" Levering did and for the famous chewing tobacco company.
it looks nice, majority of the etching is gone on mine, but with a fine grit sandpaper the lil bit of rust would be done...actually I scratched half off about half of the rust with my finger nail. tryin to figure out if i should restore and try to keep the etching or just make it pretty and use it as a shaver...
