Are there any Bergische Lowe- owners , who have quality problems with this razor?.
Here review of Dovo "Bergischer Löwe" razor. May be, it's help you.
Thanks Manah for your quick reply, it was really helpfull to read that article and all the other replies that came with it, thanks again for your help!!
I purchased my Bergische Lowe before the major price increase. At present. I think it's overpriced for what you get. It is a beautiful razor, though.
As far as quality... I can only speak for mine. It needs a good honing right now, but the only problem I've had with it, and it is minor, is that there is a small amount of play, or wiggle, at the razor pivot pin. I tried tapping the pin with a small hammer and punch to tighten it, but it didn't work. I'll probably have to send it in and have some small washers inserted to snug it up. I don't like floppy straight razors.

I have mine a few years and in addition to being a real looker I find it to be a great shaver. I've had no quality problems with mine. It just needed a good honing whenI got it.
When I decided to take up straight razor shaving, I bought 3 razors. One was a TI 7/8th round point, one was a Dovo Renaissance, and the last was a Bergischer Lowe. The Bergischer Lowe is still a regular in my rotation(as are the other two),even now that I've added some fine vintage razors to my collection. Now that I've learned how to put a good edge on a razor the shaves have only gotten better, as this razor takes and holds a fine edge.
