T.Turner 7 day set (with pictures)

I Got this seven day set from a "buy it now" auction on Ebay. I thought I would post pictures so you guys can tell me what you think? Also I just made a Light-box and would like some feedback on the Pictures, as this is my First Thread here.

The razors are T.Turner & co. Built For A & N.C.L.S ?? "Encore" from sheffield. The box is a bit worn but did have the original instructions:) The scales seem to be ivory?? and only 2 have small Cracks. The 6/8th blades seem really well honed and near shave ready, and they are "full hollow" but seem heavier then newer grinds. They still need some cleaning. The part I like most is that when you have 7 of the same razor, you really notice how different each one Is. All different grinds and lengths. Enjoy, Here's the Photos

Welcome to SRP. That is a lovely set for shaving or for display. You might want to send one or all out to a pro for honing if you intend on using them unless you are a honer yourself. The scales do look like genuine ivory to me. I think you did very well.

Great looking set. I'm envious. My only comment on the phtography is that you might want to try a smaller aperture for more depth of field. And smaller pictures, so the whole image would show without scrolling. Otherwise, good job on both the purchase and the pix!

Very nice set. And here, in the WIKI some info about Thomas Turner.

Thomas Turner & Co. was in business from 1802 - 1953. Since the razors and paperwork both have Sheffield rather than Sheffield, England; this set was made between 1870 when celluloid became readily available and 1891 when the Madrid Trade accords were signed protecting trade marks internationally.

This set is a rare find - especially in this condition.

Thanks for all the info guys. I will post a close up of the instructions for you guys to read. You might find that intersting. As for the scales, I have another razor that has ivory scales and these look almost identical. But they could be good reproductions. As for using them, I will for sure. They look like They just may need a touchup on the 8K and a CrOx strop as the bevels are very good.

Nice indeed! Are they full hollow or something a little stiffer? I noticed the spine has some heft to it.

They are very hollow considering the age, And yes they have very hefty spines.

I love the 7 day sets. Wish I could get one, a puma preferably.
