Went to go pick up the girl from kindergarten and come back and someone had listed a 7-day set in the classifieds ready for restore for $68...it was listed and sold during the ten minute trip :aargh:

You would have been buying a $70 box... most of those look pretty far gone. I imagine there will be 3 or 4 salvaged, but it's definitely not a restorable seven day set....
Yep,if Alex gave up on them,it's not a good situation.He's one of the best restorers available.
They look like they were worth more than the selling price to me - 2 look past it, 3 look like good possibilities and 2 look like definites for restoration.
And a nice box, too!
