missed it by that much

Been bidding on a few razors on flea-bay, and thought I had a very good condition Boker in the bag as I was leading and still had about $10 to go until my max bid with only about 30 minutes left. Someone went and out bid me. Oh well I'm sitting on 2 others as the only bidder that are each under an hour and a half. Not bigger names but ones I've had in the past that have made good shavers.

Had 2 razors for a while, and while I was polishing one of them up for a new set of scales and found that the blade had a split developing, os I'm after a couple of replacements I'm looking to get to about a half dozen from different makers, and then try my hand a making one or two. I've made a number of knives over the years and think it could be an interesting challenge.

Well thats workse than turpentine as aftershave. Placed bids on 4 razors all ending about the same time, and got sniped on every one of them. The one remaining is already a fair bit higher than I'm willing to pay from an unknown source.
