Of all TI's that is the one that always catches my eye. Festonne back, thumbnotch.........stamina wood, with sticker, it doesn't get any better than that!:D
Please give a shave report once you've put a decent edge on there!
Nice, very nice! Could you let us know how you like it? You know the standard stuff! I am always amazed how the old forgings can be so good.

Hello.
Congrats on a beautiful new razor Glenn. I have a few questions about the TI razors that the KnifeCenter sells, as they are rather stingy on the specifications.
1. Is the difference between J84 and J85 only in the handle?
2. Other than the grind, what is the difference between J65 and the J85?
3. Are they all made from the same metal? What is that metal?
4. Are the blades new or restored?
Thanks.
Rudy
It is my understanding that each major vendor can chose the Gold Etch Names such as these are "Eagle" branding...
They can also chose the handle (scale) material for each razor...
Also as I count them I think there are 4 different steels that TI uses ???
The old blanks (Which really could be anything)
The older formula
The silversteel
The new formula
I might be missing some there I have never been a huge TI fan this one caught my eye at the right time....
Trust in that I will do a complete review of the razor though, like I said I this is only the second brand new razor I have bought...
sweet Glen! but those scales gotta go:beer1:
I was hoping that you'd enjoy having ordered a razor you don't have to do anything, except perhaps follow TI's "instructions", in order to shave, but I guess leopard just can't change its spots :D. I'm sure the razor will look even more fantabulous after your modifications.
Many close shavings on your razor, mate!
