Bragging rights... C-MON Antique Store Find!

So I decided to finally stop by my local antique store near my work, and just look what I found! A C-MON Special, in excellent restorable condition! The only sad thing is that I must shorten the ~7/8 blade down to 6/8... :(... I got it for a steal tho! So I'm not complainin!

From what I hear, they are great. And yes, there is a chip in the edge... Looks like the picture did not load. One sec...

Great local find! :tu:tu A 6/8s is better than it winding up in the trash! Aren't local antique shop finds just GREAT!! :y Get 'er honed and enjoy your shaves with it.

Ah, I knew I would be asked that question eventually... :)

That is a piece or red coral. I plan on using it to make some spacers. Most likely what I'll do is cut the guy into little blocks and epoxy them togother to both stabalize and connect them. We'll see if it works, lol...
