have come accross this razor. on the tang its marked sheffield steel ground in germany ? on the reverse its marked MARKED ALBERT BELLEFONTAINE-MONTREAL-TORONTO.
the scales are what attracted me to this -marked Happy Barber also etched on the blade.
but i can find no history on it at all - suprising seeing it lookes it be a nice razor with some tlc

Back in the old days there was a period when Sheffield razors ground in Germany was considered to be a plus in marketing. Even in recent years Thiers Issard used to mark their razors as being made of Sheffield Silver steel so the trend continued. The Toronto mark is probably the end seller having his brand on the tang which was also a common practice. That is all I know regarding the topic. More knowledgeable members may be able to help you with info on the maker.
