Well, I liked it so I bought it. Just got it today. This picture is from the ebay post. I'll take more later.
Got to admit, now that I've got my hands on it I like it even better.

I would say: get it honed and let us know how she shaves. If the shaves are crap you at least have a nice set of scales for your next restoration job.

Looks like it's made for gettin under the nose.
Is the spine very thin or does it just have a very steep bevel angle?
I remember that when I first saw this thing, I really wanted it. I hope you plan on shaving with it as I would love to hear how it goes.

I guess I just like the strange and different.
Kind of like shaving with a straight instead of a minature version of a lawn mower:shrug:.
I love the scales even though they're just cheap plastic. As for the blade - it really gets my since of design revved up.
Most of us have strong feelings for certain blade designs. Some think that the rounded points look like butter knives - I love 'em. Some love the barbers notch - I think it looks like a grinder accident.
But like my Grandpa always said.
"If we all liked the same thing, then we'd all want to go upstairs and jump your Grandma!!!"
So, I guess being different isn't all bad.
The blade appears to be about a 1/4 hollow. It has a few flea bites on the edge but once I get it honed I will try shaving with it and let ya'll know how it goes. As for under the nose - I'm not shaving my mustasche for anyone.:rofl2:

it is by far, the most interesting razor I have seen to date. No doubt a keeper! And once polished up and honed, certainly a topic for conversation. Please keep us up to date on its restoration.
