A bit curious about these two blades.
Ok so in all my talking and obsessing about straight razors for the hubby my mother had a flash of memory about two old straight razors sitting in a drawer buried somewhere in their house. These were given to her by a lady she knew from Germany whose father had died. These were in a box of her fathers old 'junk' she did not know what to do with. So for the cost of working on her greenhouses for the afternoon she gave these two blades to Chris.
The first says on the box tridente standard 1933 ED.Wusthof Solingen. The whole razor is just as pretty as can be and it has I think the original scales because that has the trident and the 1933 mark on it also. There is a tiny chip though which is the only bad thing I see. Hoping that can be fixed.
The second blade came in a box that seems to be from a store in Berlin N.W. Lists address and name. But the blade is kinda odd and we are not exactly sure when you would ever use this one. It says JA Henckels Solingen Swillingswerk 75 1/2. There is a tiny bit of rust not on the blade but where the stamp is and I see a litle bit at the very top of the blade. I think those should be fixable but when would you use such a skinny little blade. Its like a mini blade.
Sorry for so many newbie questions.
