Help with identifying a Joseph Rodgers & Sons razor

I'm looking at a Joseph Rodgers & sons razor that I'm trying to determine if the blade has been altered or if they actually made one like this. Judging by the finger hook on the tang, it looks to be early to mid 1800's because it's pretty short. The scales looks to be original and has a metal inlay in the side that is about 3/4" long and about 3/16" wide. The center and ends of the inlay are wider to where the entire inlay looks sort of like a really stretched out bow tie. The blade is shoulderless and a sqaure spike. The really strange thing is on the spine of the blade. The top of the spine is notched down about 3/32" starting just past the heel of the blade all the way to the tip. In other words, if you take your finger, starting at the end of the blade and run it along the spine, just before you get the heel, you finger will stop where you will need to lift your finger about 3/32" to continue on to the tang. Has anyone ever seen a blade like this on a JR&S? Thanks!

Do you mean the spine looks like ebay item 220528133413? If so, I have on like that, but it is about a half hollow. Mine may have been reground, but I think the spine work is original.
