What a beautiful pair of razors! I really don't think that there have ever been many razors of this high artistic quality made, even for royalty in the 1800's. You are very fortunate to have them.

My dear, Riooso,
Looking at your beautiful Robert Williams Christmas razors, I thought of the poet Keats, who said:
"A thing of beauty is a joy forever: /Its loveliness increases; it will never / Pass into nothingness."
Imagine starting your morning with a shave from these razors. What a beautiful way to start the day.
I am in awe of Mr. Williams' work. What amazing talent.
And I share your joy with these glorious razors. Congratulations.
It's a beautiful day, indeed.
Regards,
Obie
Those are just gorgeous examples of Robert's work. Simply fantastic!
Beautiful razors! The rope spine work is amazing. The Giraffe bone looks great, too! Any particular reason for Giraffe, or just the look?
I loved the look on some of the other razors that I have seen them on and I wanted something different. They will take any color that you impart upon them, in a kinda mottled way. I left it up to Mr. Williams to give it the color or whatever he wanted to do. It was his call but I love what he did with them. They are astounding when you open the box for the first time and I can honestly say they still are!
Take Care,
Richard
Wow, those are two GREAT examples of truly "custom" razors!
I'm hoping that one day I'll have a razor made my Mr. Williams. I especially like the giraffe bone scales.
Now that is how to spoil oneself ! I just wish i could do the same, now thats a pair thats beats a full house!! ENJOY ,ENJOY.
Those are both so beautiful. Actually, they're stunning!
riooso,
Truly stunning, beautiful razors. They were undoubtedly well worth the wait.
Congratulations!
