yes, very nice. Is that a 4/8?
Ladies and gentlemen:
What more is there to say except that, indeed, is a lovely razor. Good show.

Obie
You do find some awesome straights and hones Sham. Congrats!
Mac
Those are celuloid scales but all in all a nice razor.
it is 5/8 .
John it looks like ivory . i will do burn test lets see what happens.
My word, what a stunner. Will be interested in those burn tests because from those pics I wouldn't like to say one way or the other. Absolute beauty either way though.
cool razor Sham!
Beautiful crisp, clean etching on that blade-looks deeper than most etchings. I can't really tell if the scales are ivory from the photos (ivory is hard to photograph well, at least for me) but I am guessing they are celluloid too. I know that my Joseph Allens are great shavers, and yours looks like it will be too. Thanks for posting it, and I hope it is ivory. If not, you still have a nice old Sheffield with one of the better blade etchings I have seen.
i used hot needle and try to burn inside the scales . nothing happen. even no smell. but when i put outside the scale it did have surface burn. i have at least 10 more ivory scale blades . color is different a little. most of them white color this one is close to yellow more then white. it may be plastic.
