I dont have that exact razor, but my TI Spartacus dreadnought is a great shaver as well as being a great looking razor.
I dont think you'll be disappointed with a TI...!

I have it and I love it. Got mine from Steve Dempster of the Invisible Edge in the UK. He is also a UK TI distributor. Beautiful Ram's horn scales and shave ready to the max from Steve. I also have the earlier Silverwing which I got from Classic when Lynn was honing for them. Also maxed out shave ready and still is with many shaves and nary a touch up.

Thanked: 286I have one very nice razor can feel a little harsh i thought untill recently i honed on my coticule and got a nice smooth edge. . I don't think they are worth the money. As they cost aprox £280. I just just got my self a 6/8 la grelot from raspur which comes with ti name on it. That cost me 115 euros and about 15 for delivery. I can say that it is a tramendous shaver for halv the price, it your choice , if i had mine again i would buy two la grelots instead of one silver wing.

I have the original and understand they have since modified the steel mix a tad.
I have mixed feelings on mine. It gives a great shave and seems to hold up to multiple shaves really well however I find it has a peculiar feel to the shave, kind of heavy. Though I've played with it and have improved it over time. It still requires more force when shaving. No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Funny how the 'bigger is better' syndrome kicks in. I was put off by the fact that the wing was 5/8. I was thinking that for a special edition they ought to at least do a 6/8. Then when they came out with the limited French point wing in 5/8 I was again a bit put off. Bottom line is that I have come to like a 5;/8 very much. I still like the larger blades but a 5/8 is plenty good for me now.

Thanked: 286Thats the feeling i get. They do take a little tinkering . I found TI rasoir paste worked a treat on mine. The differance was unreal. I also can get great shave of my coticule if i hit the max coming of slurry then water diluting method. Ti paste is the quikest and easiest.

Thanked: 9I recently bought Silverwing French nose with ram's horn scales from Steve Dempster and I love it. I'm not too experienced with straight razors, but this is definately the best I've shaved with. It came shave ready and gives very good and close shave. It's also very hollow and light compared to my Solingens and I personally like the instant feedback it gives.

Hi,
I don't have the SilverWing, but do have two (2) TI C135, 5/8 razors, one full-hollow, the other half-hollow.
They are very, very nice shavers; to my mind, I do feel, as others have said, that they do have a 'particular' feel on the face.
They keep an edge very well; indeed better than any of the rest of my razors. The fit and finish on them was also excellent. I have been most pleased with them
Have fun !
Best regards
Russ

I have 2 TI's one. is the basic plastic scaled Sparacus 5/8. The other is the Rams Horn scaled silverwing.
Both are great shavers . But I do seem to use the Spartacus more, I just seem to be leaning to plainer scaled blades at the moment.
The Silver Wing seams to have a more flexible edge to it & to my eye is finer ground. But I would say that they both give great shaves so it's a personal choice as to which one you lean toward.
Cheers Paul
