You could do the third, and bring the base of the heel in a bit more like the first.
That would give you that nice smooth curve, and match the angle of the toe.

I couldnt resist any longer so I went to town on it with the dremel. Once the radius was cut the shoulder remnants looked terrible imo, so I made a bold decision and decided to sacrifice the maker markings for a smooth look by continuing the hollowing.
Hope you like it! -- now the hard work of sanding begins
Shame about losing the stamps but at least you have a workable razor now :)
i like it. i like it alot. really nice work!
Yep, I had to do that to my DOVO awhile back..I lent it to a cherry and he dropped it..Came back with a crack on the heel, so I put it on the drill press (with a small sanding drum) and turned it into a shouderless..I actually like it better now.. It shave like a bismark.
Nice save, that razor looks great!
I have 3 W&B's with this exact same point, one is probably my fav razor it's rescaled in grey bone.
cheers
David
I have a W&B Special with the same point. I recently sold a Bow that also had that point. Must be factory and I think it's very cool that a company would go the extra mile to do something like that to distinguish there product from all others.
