Hellow There!
Recently I ran into a "Marble" 100th anniversary "Damascus Steel" straight razor.
I'm wondering if you have ever heard of or used any straight razor produced by this manufacturer.

Not a razor, but I bought one of their pocket knives a year or so ago. It was cheap and crappy.
Yea, they are not known for making quality products.
Their vintage knives and axes were high quality and go for big bucks on the bay. I don't think they made razors back in those days. Some outfit bought the name and is trying to cash in apparently. A quality damascus razor is usually north of six or seven hundred dollars.
I just found the same think on e bay and was checking here to see if I could find quality reports. Thanks to everyone for letting me know not to waste my money on this.
The Marbles name was once a benchmark for quality knives. I made the mistake of buying a Marbles razor on eBay; it was made in Pakistan and was of abysmal quality. Don't know what to do with it...I could set a bevel on a DMT and make it sharp and ugly, but the edge probably would not last through one shave. Live and learn!
