What is this old razor?
Hi.
I'm totally new here. Please be patient with me.
Have a few questions about a razor I found.
The box says Boker King Cutter, but there are no markings on the blade or scales.
Is there any way to tell what kind of razor this is? What era?
(see the attached pics)
Thanks for your help.

Welcome to SRP. It is not unusual to have razors and boxes mismatched. If that was a Boker rest assured that it would be stamped on the tang and would normally have an etching on the blade reading King Cutter like the box. The no markings on the razor may mean it is not of a high quality but not necessarily. Honing it up and shaving is the only way to find out. There are members who offer honing for hire in the SRP Classifieds here. Read my sig lines below to avoid nicks and cuts and for more straight razor info. :beer1:

Welcome to SRP.
Having a razor in a box does not associate that razor with any particular brand. All Boker razors I have seen have been mark as such on the blade. W/o markings on the blade there really isn't any way to associate it with a specific maker. That doesn't mean it is not a good razor, just unmarked. :)
I'm sure someone will pop in to address the era the razor was manufactured in.
