Need help with new razor "Progress"

Just bought a new razor today and the brand is "Progress" but i can not find any info or history of the brand. can any buddy here help me out a little if you know anything about them. the razor also came in a tin case which i never seen before with matching name and marks.

"Progress", registered 1899, no. 37189.
This trademark was used by John Elias Bleckmann, 1808-1980, Solingen, Ronsdorf. He was exporter to England.
1850-1860, he had an agency in New York City.
