I don't know what model the 'shave of the day' is but so far out of about a dozen I like all I've got regardless of model.
Got to post some photos, Nick. Like Jimmy, I love all of my TI razors, so if there's a model out there that I don't have, I'd really enjoy seeing it!
Sorry about that.
Seems to me what you have there is TI's new model carbonsong razors. These are very good state of the art razors and very fine shavers. Always hone these with the rolling X hone method as these razors have a nice smile to them. Like most TI's they are a bit more work to get a good edge on the first time, so if you haven't done a few razors with a smile get it shave ready or send it to one of the honemiesters for sharpening. You'll be glad you did.
That blade is one of the hard steel blade i have ever seen.
will take a good time make it shave ready.
Problem is when they come out of TI they set the bevel some machine.
take sooo much time to get rid of original bevel set . then you have to hone.
after you done it should be very fine shaver. gl
Great news. Thank you. I think i will have to send them out for honing. Im still very new to honing.
nicknbleeding,
Once the edge is dialled in, I have found the C135 TIs to be super shavers :)
With the usual razor care, I have found the edges on them to be very long lasting before a touch up is needed. They respond very well to diamond on felt for the touch up
Have fun !
Best regards
