Whitetail Cutlery - USA
I am pretty sure Whitetail Cutlery is known primarily for middle of the road knives? I would appreciate some of you experts to tell me about this "Whitetail Cutlery - USA" straight. I am having difficulty imagining how this would make it to market. I don't have a scale to weigh it but I would guess 8 ounces. The blade is 3" in length and a touch wider than 6/8th. The razor body is 7/16ths " wide. Construction appears to be all stainless steel with bone inlay. It is almost a full wedge. I got it off of ebay just because I was struck by the novelty of it. It came with a nice bevel and I may just hone it up..............or not  Thanks for any help folks.

The scales (heavy & stainless) look a lot like a Kriegar "box cutter/pencil sharpener" that I have in my shop. If it is the same, it's good for box cutting and pencil sharpening...sorry. I hope for your sake it's not...

No access to pins, the stainless body is solid steel one piece. A couple of good size washers at the pivot. It's just strange....stainless steel/bone box cutter could be..I'd sure want a sheath for it if that is what it is though. Like I said it's the novelty of it that intrigues me. It's not getting near my face weighing in at about a half pound!

See if it will take an edge, it cant be any heavier than a "barbers use".

Bob, you could just keep it as a novelty cutter to open up all the shaving related parcels that make it to your home. :)

Me want... Me want... Even if I have to drill out the scales to pull the blade and use them as a home for one of my old sheffields...
