Got this razor today stropped it and shaved me great. Just wondered if any of the gentleman or ladies here could help identify it by the trade mark stamp. The scales are very thin and I think may be Ivory. Thanks for any help in advance.

Looks like it's in great shape. Where did you get it?
Yup, I agree on ivory. I've seen Mappins with that same etch pattern on the razor. But I'm 90% sure I've seen it on another razor as well, though I can't remember what at the moment.
Yes, almost certainly ivory scales.
There are two possibles for the mark.
First - amd most likely - the trademark probably refers to Arthur Marsh, cutler, of Eyre Street Sheffield, 1845 - 1868. At some point his "AM" mark became "A M S" - probably for Arthur Marsh & Son. Silber & Fleming, a London department store and wholesalers, either bought the trademark or promoted this line, signified by the A M S in a ribbon bow, until around 1892.
The second - and less likely - is that Silber & Fleming were originally set up as The Silber Light Co. by Albert Martin Silber - he has the same initials, but I don't think that I have seen them in a ribbon bow like the Arthur Marsh trademark. Probably just a coincidence.
