Estimating Age of Razor
As I rambled around SRP and its links, I bumped into a page that estimated a date range for manufacture based on the shape and style of the "tail" (if that's the right term - the portion used to open the razor). I can't find the page. Can you point me in the right direction?

you may find it here in wiki , Ive seen pic showing tail types for age estimates on the board here

Thanks
By this chart, I have a G Wostenholm & Son's IXL and a Diamond Edge razor from 1830 to 1845 and a no-named razor from 1810 to 1835. Both are in a slow process of restoration as I gain skills. I'll post photos later in the process. Amazing to be working on tools 170+ years old. I'd love to pick up something from the 1700's but doubt my budget will ever allow.
